Before joining Lenovo in 2005, Mr. Mierley was an accomplished performance driven business executive for the IBM Corporation offering an extensive portfolio of Sales leadership experience. During a 28 year career he managed numerous sales teams and territories in both the US, Central America and South America with outstanding success achieving 17 of 20 100% Clubs recognizing IBM’s top performers. Mr. Mierley created strong relationships and effective collaborative efforts with key customer executives successfully selling and having competence in almost every industry sector including Telecommunications, Finance, Manufacturing and Consulting industry sectors. He developed effective strategies for growing business lines, revenue and profit in large and mid-sized corporate accounts. Additionally he has managed for IBM, Financial planning, Plans and Controls and Business Operations units with an energetic, passionate commitment to excellence. Recognized as a talented, creative, business executive, Mr. Mierley achieved numerous stock option awards and was recognized in IBM’s top 1% of business leaders.
Mr. Mierley is a Founding Partner in Tyche Global Emerging Market Partners which is a Private Equity Firm focused on Infrastructure Investments in South Asia and he received his BS in Electrical Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University with minors in both Mathematics and Statistics.
